Made it to Belgium
Aug 18
We have all arrived safely and healthy in Belgium. I cannot believe that I made my connecting flight in Chicago with only a 40 minute window on paper and then leaving 15 minutes late from XNA. I have sure not made those connections before in Chicago. I also navigated three different trains to make it to our Western Cluster meeting location. I arrived a little later than the rest of our team that spent a few days in Paris prior to getting here. After a shower and dinner, I have had the pleasure of meeting several missionaries and doing some emails and now writing this blog.
We hope to encourage our partners in the Gospel. I know our worship team will do a great job. we pray for all of our health and enthusiasm. I know that so many have great concern about the spiritual coldness in Europe. As I shared with one of my new friends, he expressed his concern about his people and I had to share with him the concerns that I have about our country. I am looking forward to preaching for the Lord’s glory and the blessing of Him upon the hearers this week.
I am greatly looking forward to getting back in the pulpit to continue our series on Sufficiency. I am so convinced that this message will change our lives if we can understand it and apply it and grow in His grace. I am beginning to fade so I better go. Until next time. . .Wes
