Day 4 in Belgium

We had a good worship service today.  It seems that about the time we begin connecting the meeting is over.  Our worship team continues to do the same great job.  Tomorrow is our last session then we pack up and begin the journey towards getting back home.  It has been good to be with our team and especially Jonathan.  It is always neat to visit with other laborers in the Gospel and to learn from them.  God is at work all around the world bringing His people to Himself.  This is the same region that our own John and Leslie Caubble served in before they joined the team of FBC Rogers.

God gave us an opportunity to go to Bastone today which is about an hour from where we are staying.  This is the location of the Battle of the Bulge which was the turning point in World War 2.  Mark called a great prayer supporter, Howarth Taylor from Hickory Ridge (Wynne).  Mr. Taylor fought in the Battle of the Bulge.  It was neat to talk with him while standing on the grounds where he fought for freedom against Hitler’s forces just over 60 years ago.  Below is a photo of the war memorial that is a tribute to all the states and armed forces divisions that secured the victory.

I don’t know if I will have an internet connection the next couple of days so it may be next week before I get back on the blog.  Until next time. . .Wes
